The intention of the Denton Community Ministries Inc, is to meet the spiritual and natural needs of the immediate community of Denton, MD and the surrounding Mid-shore areas. In our service to the Lord Jesus Christ we are willing to serve the community with education of the one true plan of salvation as well as to provide food, clothing, and other necessities to sustain a prosperous and fulfilling life.
Why We Exist
Food Box Giveaway
Denton Community Ministries is partnered with Mountaire, and we distribute food boxes three times a year. We currently serve Edenton Manor apartments, as well as any members of the community who are in need. Meals are delivered door to door. It is a privilege to show the love of Jesus Christ through serving the community.
Food Pantry
Denton Community Ministries also has a food pantry that is operated year round. If you, or anyone you know is in need, please contact us and we will be happy to serve you! We are committed to distributing food through our pantry to ensure everyone has access to meals and to combat hunger in our surrounding community.
B.A.S.S.E’s Community Outreach Initiative focuses on the importance of a positive self-image, and a strong sisterhood in the formative years of our young girls.
We have been fortunate enough to have piloted our grassroots initiative at Federalsburg Elementary School with the participation of approximately nineteen enrolled fourth and fifth grade girls. Our focus has been geared toward self-reflection, positive communication, and accountability. Our goal is to help our young ladies be a better beauty within.
