Scripture

We believe that the Holy Scriptures are the infallible and authoritative Word of God. It is only by living in obedience to His Word that we, as the people of God, can truly please Him and be restored to a right relationship with Him, according to the Scriptures. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; Romans 15:4)

The Godhead

We firmly confess the Oneness of God, and that Jesus Christ is God Almighty. “I, even I am the Lord; and beside me there is no savior” Isaiah 43:11. (1 Timothy 3:16; Philippians 2:11; Psalm 100:3;1 John 5:7; Colossians 2:9)

The Plan of Salvation

We believe that Salvation is obtained by repentance, water baptism by full immersion, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues as the Spirit of God gives the utterance. (Acts 2:38; John 3:5; Luke 24:47)

The Standard of Holiness

We believe that once the full plan of salvation has been fulfilled, it is the duty of every believer to continue steadfastly in the Apostles’ Doctrine, that through obedience and instruction they may learn to live a holy and sanctified life, acceptable and well-pleasing unto God. (Acts 2:41-42; Romans 12:1-2; 2 Corinthians 6:17)

The First Resurrection

We believe and await the coming of The Lord Jesus Christ. “For the Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first; then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so shall we ever be with the Lord.” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17) Also read 1 Corinthians 15:50-54

The Lord’s Supper

We believe in the solemn commemoration of the Lord’s body through the sacred ordinance of the Communion Table, as instituted by Christ and observed with His disciples, and in the practice of foot washing as an act of humility and service, following His example and command to proclaim His death until he come. (Genesis 14:18; Matthew 26:26-30; Luke 22:17-20; John 13:5-14; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)

The Final Judgment

When the thousand years are finished, there shall be a resurrection of the wicked dead, who shall stand before God’s throne for their final judgment. All whose names are not found written in the Book of Life, shall be cast into the lake of fire, burning with brimstone, which is the second death that God hath prepared for the devil, his angels, and the wicked who serve him. Satan shall be cast in first. (Revelations 20:7-15; Matthews 25:41-46)
